TLBSPEDIA: JACK NICHOLSON

Jack Nicholson was born in Neptune, New Jersey, on April 22 1937, and grew up in Manasquan, New Jersey, about 50 miles south of the city on the Jersey Shore. The people he believed to be his parents were named John and Ethel May Nicholson. John was a department store window dresser and Ethel May was a hairdresser as well as a talented oil painter. June Nicholson, whom he believed was his older sister, was an aspiring actress.

CURIOSITIES ABOUT ‘CASINO ROYALE’

In April 14 1967, was released one classic movie of all time, ‘Casino Royale’. The movie is about James Bond being called back out of retirement to stop SMERSH, after the death of M, Sir. In order to trick SMERSH and Le Chiffre, Bond thinks up the ultimate plan. That every agent will be named James Bond. One of the Bonds, whose real name is Evelyn Tremble is sent to take on Le Chiffre in a game of baccarat, but all the Bonds get more than they can handle.

CURIOSITIES ABOUT ‘MARRIED WITH CHILDREN’

In April 05 1987, one classic tv show of the 80’s premiered, ‘Married With Children’. The show is about Al Bundy, an unsuccessful middle aged shoe salesman with a miserable life and an equally dysfunctional family. He has a very attractive but lazy wife named Peggy who constantly nags him to death while throwing the little money he earns away on herself. He also has a very promiscuous teen aged daughter named Kelly who makes up in attractiveness what she lacks in IQ points, and a not so attractive but bright teen aged son named Bud who seems to think he is a ladies man.

CURIOSITIES ABOUT ‘POKÉMON’

In April 1 1997, was released one iconic cartoon of all time, ‘Pokémon’. The cartoon is about the ten-year-old boy, called Ash, who aspires to be the greatest Pokémon (pocket monster) trainer in the world. To do this, he enlists the help of two friends, Misty and Brock, and his own Pokémon, Pikachu. Together, they must search their world for all 150 Pokémon, while avoiding the likes of Team Rocket and their Pokémon, Meowth.

TLBSPEDIA: ELTON JOHN

Singer, songwriter, composer and icon Elton John was born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on March 25 1947, in Pinner, Middlesex, England. He discovered his passion for music at an early age. He taught himself how to play piano when he was only four years old. John soon proved to be a great talent, winning a scholarship to a youth program at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He attended classes there on the weekends.

TLBSPEDIA: GRAHAM BELL

Alexander Graham Bell was born on March 3 1847, in Edinburgh, Scotland. The second son of Alexander Melville Bell and Eliza Grace Symonds Bell, he was named for his paternal grandfather. The middle name “Graham” was added when he was 10 years old. He had two brothers, Melville James Bell and Edward Charles Bell, both of whom died from tuberculosis.
