The L’Iris D’Or Sony World Photography Award received a record number of 180000 entries, coming from 177 countries for 13 professional categories. The photos are about travel, lifestyle, behavior and global updates.

An exhibition of the best images of the competition will be on display at Somerset House in London until May 10.
